Nothing retains its original form, but Nature, the goddess of all renewal, keeps altering one shape into another.
Nothing at all in the world can perish, you have to believe me; things merely vary and change their appearance. What we call birth is merely becoming a different entity; what we call death is ceasing to be the same.
Though the parts may possibly shift their position from here to there, the wholeness in nature is constant.
– Ovid, Metamorphoses
Spring was peeking out in the last newsletter, but this time it’s exploding.
A dusting of pollen is covering my windshield (and nose) and in true seasonal fashion, I’m feeling the pull to shake off any winter blahs.
Something is awakening with spring, it’s shouting for reinvention.
This energy is so enormous it feels like it’s bursting through me and must be perceptible to everyone. But when I think of how it’s been manifesting in my activities I realize you’d have to squint to even notice it.
Here’s what it looks like in my life:
Journaling and morning pages
Lots of stretching and foam rolling
More hugs
Full donation bags
A messy studio as I’m figuring out what I want to work on next
Getting to bed ridiculously early
Actually taking the classes I’ve signed up for online
Getting out of the house more
So if you’re experiencing similar growth surges lately, you can take comfort in knowing transformation may appear in subtle movement rather than intense action. More like rearranging furniture instead of knocking down a wall.
Spring energy is an abundant course change
While meditating this past week, I’ve been visualizing filling up my tank with spring’s vitality. This simple act of imagining seems to be generating an important shift.
I feel more at home in my body than maybe ever. My brain feels clear. (As I write this I pray I’m not jinxing it).
I feel lighter and more myself.
It's the kind of change that I’ve been wishing would land in my life.
For now, it’s here and I plan to enjoy every moment.
